Make a list of your goals, and what you might do to achieve them. Be sure to address both short-term and long-term goals; try to think beyond financial and career goals, such as relationship goals, personal goals for bettering yourself, things you would like to experience, or things you want to learn. Draw up a timeline that says when you want to achieve each part.
I consider these non-negotiables. Surround yourself with good people who can complement your weaknesses. Win the "money game" and get on the path to financial freedom.
If you want to set SMARTER goals, grab a sheet of paper and start writing. It won’t work without writing it out. What do you want? Specifically, what do you want? Describe it in great detail. Don’t leave any stone unturned. Don’t just say you want millions of dollars or to be skinny. Say an exact number of dollars and an exact amount of pounds or kilos that you want to lose, with a specific date for its achievement.
In order to succeed in any area of life or to achieve any goal you need to actually DO something about it. But without the right winning “I will” mindset it will be much harder. “It’s not about working for money, it’s about having money work for you.”

The majority of people are in the middle class group, as that is the way most of us are raised. That is the way the school system works, and it is not a good thing. In school, we are taught to think like the middle class. It is a general system built for the masses, and created for the world that we lived in decades ago. Without outside training or mentors, young professionals are not prepared to live a life that takes them out of this crowd.
You may also have other skills outside your workplace that you can monetize to boost your bank balance. Maybe you can design websites for people, at a fee of course, or make alterations to clothes.
